Installation and maintenance instructions
A .M .U .E D.C.I/C.I Penstock are fixed onto the wall as a complete unit with bearing and drivebracket and guide rails using a chemical anchor system. On the part of the builder a plane vertical concrete wall with dimensional tolerances in the sealing area the wall must be smooth and 30 0 non-porous The sluice gate and the stem extension must be installed in vertical alignment. Before Commissioning , the stem ,the guides and the seal should be cleaned The stem and the stem nut should be greased with a water-repelling lubricant
OperationManually by C.I hand wheel via coated steel headstock. it could be prepared for electricaiFy operation by electrical actuator.
